Overview

Travis Gannon, a Michigan Department of Natural Resources Officer, and his wife Angel are plunged into two vicious black market operations. What begins as an investigation of the lucrative black market exotic pet trade in Michigan expands into the global trade in organ harvesting in India. Corneas are being surgically taken from the eyes of children in orphanages in India and sold in underground markets for thousands of dollars. Travis stumbles on a long-boned skeleton in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan that leads to danger and intrigue. Angel is assisting the planning and crackdown on the Detroit pet sources that abuse and market illicit animal sales that include kinkajous, Fiji green-banded lizards, and sugar gliders. Out of necessity, Travis and Angel are separated to work on the two felonious projects. The trail leads to ruthless motorcycle gangs, smuggling, murder, and criminal exploitation of children in the orphanages of faraway India. Both Travis and Angel are out of their element and struggle to cope with the dangers that surround them and lurks in both settings.
