About the Author

I was born in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Sicilian from the North-End of Kansas City, I had a unique view of events from the Vila Capri Pizzeria, Westport, and the City Market. 1962 to 1982 was a wild moment in Kansas City's history.

I left my family at a young age to live in Colorado. A state I still call home. I completed my GED and obtained a degree in mathematics. This led to the opportunity to work with a diverse group of lawyers.
I’ve been incredibly blessed in life, sharing it with my husband, three children, and seven grandchildren.
This novel required extensive research and ten years for me to achieve. Work, family, fun, and travel delayed the process. But finally, a completed novel!

I am a lifelong advocate for the abolishment of the death penalty. I made a pledge to myself at twenty-one that I would never ask someone to put another human being to death. To my core, I believe if even one innocent person is put to death, society has committed murder.
