Making Connections
This novel follows Greg as he embarks on an extended holiday travelling the length of Britain during several weeks. Greg encounters characters who are helpful as well as colourful, whilst he finds himself involved in two parallel missions as he travels to Cape Wrath - "halfway between Ramsgate and Reykjavik". This is a quirky tale of people with seemingly unrelated lives, gradually brought together by a sole traveller. In the same acerbic writing style as Douglas Adams and Peter Tinniswood, the story contains witty dialogue, wordplay, puns, and conversations at cross purposes as Greg allows himself to be swept along into projects on his journey, whilst always retaining his sense of perspective and humour.
