Mr. Martin's other interest includes sports. His father and brother Tom both played football in high school. He tried out for football, baseball, and basketball, but was too little and too slow. At the time he only weighed about 110 pounds. He played all three sports with his friends after school and thought he was pretty good, but actually was not good enough.
