About the Author

Born in Ulsan in 1989, Kkoch-nim, Lee majored in creative writing in college despite dissuasion from those around her. She made her literary debut in 2014, but it was in 2018, when she won the eighth annual Munhakdongne Prize for Young Adult Literature (one of Korea's most prestigious literary awards) with "I'll Cross Time for You," that she truly broke through as a bestselling author. Gran Travesí a will also soon publish "Killing a Friend," one of her latest works, which confirms her status as one of the most important and influential writers in Korean young adult literature.
