Two years after the death of his mother, Jude Hector's father, Samuel, takes him and his brother camping in memory of her. But leaving their home in Burlington, Ontario to travel up north to Temagami to rough it in the wild, seemed like a chore rather than leisure for Jude and his little brother Simon.
