Most of us will never be materially rich; however, all of us have the opportunity to be rich in life's memories. This is especially true as we grow older. That is what this little book is about: life's memories. Some of the stories are personal and true. Some are not, but all might have been.
About the Author
After retiring, Carl Baker and his wife, Beverly, spent many winters in the Rio Grande Valley in an RV park for "Winter Texans," as they were christened by the natives. Within a setting such as this, they met many interesting people from all walks of life. It was due to conversations and experiences with these people that he decided to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a published author. Carl has found it to be a very challenging but satisfying experience. Currently he and Beverly make their home in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, and are enjoying the people and history of the area.
