In the ruins of the world, the human population has been scattered throughout livable areas in seven provinces. 18-year-olds Elena Hawthorne and Mihkel Tiitus, have been living a hard life in their province, doing whatever they can to keep their struggling families alive. On a routine trip to steal water, Elena witnesses something unexplainable to her. Confiding in one of the few people that she trusts, she and Mihkel are brought into a plan of espionage and high treason. As the two are trying to contend with their daily lives, and the memories that keep coming up in their minds; the same people Elena trusted inform them of their immediate danger if they stay in the province. With inhuman abilities developing for the two, they flee with those they have no choice but to trust. Making it a high risk game of being hunted wherever they go.
