About the Author

T.J. Faulk is a native of Long Island, NY. He was raised in a Christian home by his father and mother, Deacon and Deaconess Faulk who are both retired since 2003 and married for over 57 years. T.J. Faulk received Christ at an early age in 1978 at First Baptist Church of Wyandanch, NY under the leadership of Pastor Moses Robinson Jr. T.J. Faulk completed his graduate studies in 1995 from Long Island University (C.W. Post Campus) where he studied Political Science. In addition, he holds degrees in Sociology/Communication and Criminal Justice. To augment his formal education he acquired multiple technical certifications germane to cyber-security where he currently holds a Vice President position in Information Security Governance at a growing financial institution. His past industry experience is diverse with exposure in various disciplines: Media and Communication, Defense Contract, Insurance and Legal, Information Technology, and Financial. Recently, T.J. Faulk retired from the Air National Guard (USAF-Reserve) with over 27 years of service at the rank of Lt. Colonel. While in the Military and Defense Contract industry T.J. Faulk was mentored by Senior Leadership and Staff, while at the same time mentoring new recruits and subordinates. Presently, T.J. Faulk is an active mentor with: Elizabeth Baptist Church-Douglasville, Cobb and Douglas County School systems, Non-profit mentoring group called, R.O.O.L.A (Raising Overachieving Outliers Leadership Academy) and Men of S.T.E.E.L. (Strong Tenacious Empowering Educated Leaders). T. J. Faulk has an unending passion for mentoring. As a recent retiree from the military reserves, in his free time he seeks opportunities to help establish Christian based mentoring programs. To show his dedication a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book are going to support certain mentoring programs.
