About the Author

Caitlynne has harbored a lifelong love of books and animals. She was born and raised in Georgia and is an Appalachian State Alumni. She transplanted to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2015 and founded Dog-Eared Books with her friend Stephanie Stegemoller. Caitlynne co-authored her first picture book in 2019. She still resides in Raleigh with her husband Cameron and their three dogs, River, Rory, and Milo.

Yana was born and raised in Ukraine, in the small beautiful village of Luka-Meleshkivska. She began drawing in early childhood. Yana is the mother of two wonderful children, and they inspire her to be creative and to illustrate children's books. She loves to portray bright colors and positive emotions.
