About the Author

The Milwaukee Writer's Circle was established on May 21, 2010 by our founder and president Heddy Keith on meetup. By October 2011, we were incorporated as a Wisconsin non-profit. In 2013, we published our first Anthology: The Best of Milwaukee Writer's Circle.

As a group of dedicated writers, we honor and appreciate diversity!

The three circles in our logo illustrate our diversity, unity, and connectedness. A circle has no beginning or end; it is a symbol of our continuous support for writers. As a symbol of democracy, it is the preferred shape for an organization of equals. Writers are nurtured at all levels, from beginners to advanced.
