Moments in Time

To Cassandra Peyton, structure and discipline are as important on the yoga mat as they are in life. The married mother of two thrives on a controlled routine—and though she might come off as confident, insecurities and anxious thoughts rarely allow her to let her guard down, unless she’s with her family or close friends.

At least that’s how it is until she meets Daniel, the studio director and an instructor at a new yoga studio she’s started attending. From the moment they meet, a magnetic attraction causes her to lose focus—provoking feelings deep inside she never knew she was capable of.

Suddenly, it seems like things are never going to be the same, as much as she tries to rationalize and bury away these newfound desires. Now Cass is faced with some difficult choices. This passionate new romance explores the many twists and turns of forbidden love. Set against a backdrop of complex family relationships and friendships, and her beloved brother battling terminal cancer, Moments in Time is as much about grief, heartache, and compassion as it is about the sparks of desire.

About the Author

Nina C. Payne is a wife, a mother of two, and a yoga instructor. Her love of yoga goes beyond physical postures, and she finds great pleasure in studying the philosophy, psychology, and physiology of yoga. Her debut novel, Moments in Time, is strongly inspired by her real-life experiences. Having lost her brother to cancer and then her father four months later to a broken heart, it explores the obstacles many of us face and the courage it takes to overcome them.
