About the Author

Laura Jensen-Kimball is the mother of four children and married to Jeff. She was inspired to write after her youngest child was diagnosed with a speech delay. Books were a common tool used in improving his speech. Laura creates books with a touch of humor she feels both parent and child will enjoy. Living in Norwalk, Iowa, she is also a Registered Nurse currently pursuing her Masters in Nursing. This is Laura's first published book and hopes to publish her other stories soon.

This book reminds me a little of my mom. I've actually called my mom a momster before. The pictures are really colorful and look great on a Nook. It's pretty funny and the turtle will grab kid's attention.

This book is entertaining with beautiful illustrations and a good message. Parents and children will laugh together and enjoy the some what scary story. Look at the details in the pictures!

This is a great book for kids. Really helps them to learn and understand about Moms while being really fun too!! I would definitely recommend.
