I thought about writing my review on how much I love Murphy...which I do. But Heidi is who pulled me into this book more. This young woman had to go through so much. She's fought tooth and nail to survive heartbreak and self love. Autumn is a great story teller. She is one of my favorites. Autumn left some unanswered questions but she always answers them in her time and keeps us on our toes. This a must read series. I HIGHLY recommend

Autumn is an author that can bring life to the characters in her books, with only a few words. I'm continously amazed by her writing! Her characters are ever-evolving, but also true to their roots. This best-friend's little sister romance is packed full of emotion; sadness, heartbreak, and love. More Than Miles gives us a look at youth aging and making decisions, experience looking back with fondness and regret, and most importantly; forgiveness and understanding.

Blake and Heidi....... the story i anxiously waited for, the couple i loved before i even read the book, and the couple my heart cried for as they were in two diffrent places in life loving each other and unknowingly breaking each others hearts. This book does not disappoint, the first half might not be the story i hoped for and it might drive you a bit crazy while breaking your heart but the second half pulls you back in and makes the first half worth reading as sometimes the hardest roads really do lead to the most beautiful endings.

Not as good as the previous books....was just a little long for me.

Initially i was really excited about this story because i love Murphy. And theres just something not right about Axels actions and manipulating ways. I didnt care for Heidis childish lies by omission that only made things worse every time. Then theres an odd disconnect between Muphy the badass & Muphy needing so much instruction during sex. I found that unplausable. There were too many open ended issues that never get resolved like the gym shooting or Heidis mother coming around. As a whole it feels scattered, rushed, and incomplete.

When Heidi turns 18, Murphy thinks they will finally be able to be together. Little does he know, fate had other plans. Heidi and Axel discover an unexpected life changer coming their way and neither one of them takes it well. Heidi was pretty immature throughout this book and acted her age or younger for most of it. Murphy is so surprised by the new direction Heidi's life goes in, he winds up with whiplash. Heidi had a hard time owning her mistakes and trying to keep secrets, when it would have just been better to man up and tell the truth. She wound up hurting her brother and Murphy numerous times by deciding she would tell them what she thought they needed to know, and not what was really happening. She made her bed and, while she did try and lie in it, she wasn't exactly able to cover up how miserable she was. Her childhood had her trying to do what she felt was the right thing, but it wound up being wrong and cost her in the end. Another life altering event happens and it forces her to come to grips with where her life now needed to go. Murphy was great at being there for her every step of the way. Hope did step in and be a mother figure to her, but really was just a sounding board and didn't really guide her when she should have. Her feelings for Axel distorted her advice to Heidi and that wound up biting every one. I did like how the book showed the tough path Murphy and Heidi had to take to find their HEA. Murphy was a solid, reliable person who sucked it up and was there for Heidi no matter what. The ending was a nice surprise and left me with some unanswered questions.

My Rating: 4.5 Favorite Quotes: He's been waiting for your birthday like a fat kid waiting for Girl Scout cookie season. This was new and unfamiliar. Weird and awful, but her words also warmed me from the inside out. It's not until right this second that I think about how odd it is that Rock sort of adopted us the way he did. How as a kid, I felt safer around a group of hardened bikers than with my own mother. Your little fingerprints have been all over my heart since the day we met. Yeah, it was your personality that made me love you but your hot bod that made me thank God we weren't actually related. My Review: While reading More Than Miles, I found was frequently frustrated and annoyed with the characters, as well as the author for torturing them so. The main characters, most particularly bratty Heidi and smirking Axel, made one poor choice after another and were often far from likable. Yet, I could not stop reading. The storyline kept me engaged, despite my irritation and the characters' blind stubbornness. The writing was observant, highly emotive, and angsty, with clever hits of humor and delicious steam. I am devoutly team Murphy, and his narration often squeezed my cold heart and stung my eyes. It was gratifying to see the eventual maturation of the characters as the story progressed with an ever twisting and active plot. I also enjoyed the continuation of previous storylines and catching up with the myriad of unique and quirky characters. Regardless of Ms. Lake's tendency to torment her characters, I find I am already eager for the next installment.

I was so excited to start this story, Autumn has out done her self I don't know how she's going to get another story to top this one. I was amazed on every page, the edge of my chair became my best friend. So as you can tell this is not my first time reading her work and it sure the hell wont be my last time reading it either. So as I reached chapter 7 I was hooked beyond hooked. The ending to that chapter was not how I expected it to turn out. The shock factor is/was totally on point. The emotions this time around are wonderful, one minute your gonna laugh hard the next your going to bawl so hard you'll need a whole box of Kleenex. When I hit chapter 26 I wanted to cry and scream at the same time. I was at the point here I wanted to stop reading but I couldn't do it I had to keep going I had this need pulling at me to just keep going. Between wanting to scream I want to cry then smile. Reaching 52% I didn't even know what the hell to think anymore. By the time I reached 79% it was 2am and I needed to stop for sleep. My emotions were all over the place and I could honestly say I felt what the characters felt right to the core. I want to talk more about this story but I can't not that I don't want to trust me I do just this is one of those stories that you have got to read. Everything you thought you knew just goes right out that window cause wow this story blew my mind over and over again. Autumn has done such an amazing job!!! You'll love Axel, hate Axel, love Heidi hate Heidi, love Murphy and hate him as well but by the end you'll love them all. They have a way to really keep you glued to the pages. being hooked isn't really the problem it's getting to the end and wanting more and being tossed a whole bunch of more and nowhere to get the more from that sucked but so worth it. I cannot wait for more to come. MUST READ!!! So worth 5stars then more. I give it that just because of the way the story really unfolds in front of your eyes and the emotions you really feel like your actually their with the characters. ***I received this story for free in exchange for an honest review***

So those of us who are obsessed with this series waited (somewhat patiently) for this book to be finished. It got ugly with the whole team axel vs team murphy thing but in the end we all came together in a great story. This book is so full of feelings...back and forth between whether you loved or hated the heroine but I had the same feelings for one of the heroes too. In the end I was in love again with Murphy, I came to understand Heidi, I cried ugly and in the end was happy. I do have some unresolved issues with some of the characters but that is what will keep me on the edge of my seat for the next one. So in the end it was another great couple days that ended to soon with the words The End. So I say cuddle up and get ready to spend sometime with your crew LOKI

I can't tell you how happy I was to read another LOKI book and it definitely did not disappoint!! I went from thinking "OH MY GOD!!" to "WHAT THE HELL?!!" (With much stronger language.) I was crying one minute to laughing out loud the next! My heart ached for Heidi and Blake (Murphy) and the situations they were going through. No I am not telling you ANY of the story because I want you to experience every single wonderful word for yourself!! I just recommend you don't throw your reading device and have some tissues near by. As with all the LOKI books you can read this first BUT please make sure you read the rest of the series too!! It's worth every penny, I promise you, and book 1 "Slow Burn" is FREE. I wish I could give this book 10 stars (Yes I said 10!!!) but I guarantee a 5 star read, at least!!! Oh and the sex is super hot!! Go get it NOW!!!

I just love this entire series, but from the beginning, Murphy has always been one of my favorites. I really enjoyed learning about not only his childhood, but also that of his best friend, Marcel (Teller) and his sister Heidi. It explained so much about their current relationships. It was great to finally see Murphy and Heidi have a happy ending. I can't wait to see what happens next with this bunch! I would definitely recommend this series to anyonewho loves a good romance! I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
