CeCe Winans followed Believe for It, her first live solo recording, with another performance-oriented release, More Than This. Where Believe for It was intimate and featured a set list of favorites, More Than This, recorded in Nashville, is a bigger-scale production made with help from local worship teams. Winans' energy and conviction never waver, but when supported by choirs such as these, she seems to reach another gear, as heard in resounding numbers like "That's My King" and "Holy Forever," as well as "Come Jesus Come," one of the more tradition-rooted highlights among the predominantly contemporary selections. ~ TiVo Staff
