About the Author

B. E. Exon is a former award-winning elementary school teacher with the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District, Wallingford, PA. She has also taught children internationally, from Ubud, Bali, Indonesia, to Ballycastle, County Mayo, Ireland. It was inspiring for "Mrs. X" (as kids like to call her) to discover that children around the world speak a "universal language of love and joy," through play, song, and shared stories.
