About the Author

Raymond Allan Johnson came to China as a WERS Process Engineer for JiangLing Motors Corp., Ltd. a joint venture with Ford Motor Company. After the end of his one-year contract, he spent the next six years teaching at the Science and Technology College of Nanchang University.

In seven years, living in China, Mr. Johnson was able to observe many of the nuances and pecliarities of this vast country. This story spans several China provinces, including Hong Kong.
