About the Author

Born in the United States, May has lived most of her life in Switzerland. After 10 years spent studying at university, she taught English in Geneva. She likes to be outdoors and lived for two years in Finland, spending time in Lapland. May draws and paints, decorates furniture, works in the kitchen garden and is a jam maker. Quite a few times a year she travels, often hiking over rough terrain or volunteering in faraway places such as the Galapagos or Fiji. She has two sons who both live in Geneva.
