Cute quick read. I loved the emphasis on how positive the belly dance community is. I definitely identified with the characters inability to stop buying more costume pieces. It is addictive!

Reminded me a little of the Anne George's Southern Sisters mystery series. The banter and good relationships between the main characters made me want to spend time with them. The story as about two women experiencing the excitement of new experiences in performing dance in public for the first time and exploring the subculture that is belly dance in America, which, according to the author, is not what people may think at first. Then they get caught up in a murder and, in true amateur sleuth fashion, have a stake in helping uncover the real murder. Can't wait until the next one in this new series comes out!
