My Lady Caprice
Jeffery Fernol (1878 ù 1952) was an English writer of romance/adventure stories. He is thought to be the co-founder of the Regency romantic genre. He produced approximately 40 novels and volumes of stories, and some non-fiction and children's books. My Lady Caprice (1907) was later issued as Chronicles of the Imp. In this comedy a young woman leaves London to be rid of one suitor and to be near another. The forbidden lover has followed her. One man is eligible and full of humor. The other has no humor at all. As the story progressed the Lady Caprice comes to know her own heart.
