About the Author

Ali Zarrabi is an Associate Professor and Principal Investigator in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, at Istinye University, in Turkey. He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, a master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, and a PhD in Nanobiotechnology from Sharif University of Technology. His group works at the interface of supramolecular chemistry, bioengineering, and medicine to develop approaches for simultaneous diagnosis and treatment of diseases. He has been active as a faculty member for more than 12 years. His current research interests include nanomaterials, nanotheranostics, novel wound dressing and skin patches, and translational nanomedicine. Developing wearable biosensors and diagnostic patches has recently been considered in Zarrabi Lab.

Arezoo Khosravi is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Genetic and Bioengineering, at Okan University, in Turkey. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Chemical Engineering, and a PhD in Nanomaterials. She has six years of experience as a faculty member, working on different applications of nanomaterials. Her research focuses on biomedical engineering aspects and applications of nanomaterials and nanostructured platforms.



Atefeh Zarepour received her PhD in Nanobiotechnology from the University of Isfahan, Iran. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Istinye University in Istanbul, Turkey. She has worked on the design and application of different types of smart nanotheranostic agents for cancer diagnosis and therapy. Her main research interest is engineering of nanomaterials for different applications such as anticancer, antimicrobial, nutraceutical, and environmental applications.
