Nature's Wrath
The Imperial Army is shattered and Tarosh, the jewel of the Taroshian Empire, is in grave peril. Savage wolfmen roam the land unchallenged, killing at will, creeping steadily closer to humanity's greatest bastion of hope. Few, if any, now have the power to stop the wrath of nature.
Sir Gareth Styles, one of few survivors of a horrible battle, stands tall with wolf's blood drying on his sword. With all the other officers dead or dying, Sir Gareth knows he must take up the mantle and gather what men he can find for another chance to beat the wolfmen. He carries a heavy secret, though, as not all the blood on his hands comes from wolfmen.
Back in Whitegarde, Jaymz finds himself holding a lion by its tail. He must tame the beast he let loose in the winter, or see the entire province go up in the smoke and fire of civil war. And in a slave pen half a world away, Princess Animaelin Noble plots revenge on her perpetrators.
