Nyx Martil never thought she nor her mother would be able to get away from her drunk of a father. In her last year of high school she made a decision and created a plan to escape. About the Author

I'm just a small town Louisiana girl, grew up and lived here most my life. I have lived in California for two years, then was drawn back to my root's where I have stayed since. I am the mom of 4 amazing children and the step - mom of two handsome step - son's. My fiance of three year's is very loving and supporting. I have always wished to write one day, but with my previously crazy work schedule it was utterly impossible. Dealing with health condition's that have since brought me to be a stay at home mom, I now am able to pursue my writing career.

When you read a book you are supposed to relate to it but I didn't just relate, I felt as I was there with them. Almost as if I was living their lives with them!!!
