About the Author

Born in Luanda, Angola, and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Ady Vaal says her creative instinct and strong sense of adventure were framed at an early age through extensive travels and an opportunity to live in various locations throughout the world. After graduating from Hood College in Maryland, where she majored in communications, she moved to back to Luanda, where she worked in public affairs and communications while participating in a plethora of volunteer activities. Following her work there, Vaal moved to Egypt, where she explored the many ancient treasures of the country and began her writing career. Also the author of Complete Surrender and Meeting Jacob, Vaal is fluent in English and Portuguese and proficient in Spanish and French.
