Lucky stepped down off the platform and approached his wife. He smiled and stepped up to Daniella. Lucky wrapped his arms around her. As he pulled away, a splinter in his hand caught her shirt.
"Oh goodness." Daniella took his hand into hers and looked at the splinters. She began to pull the small metal slivers out of his thick callouses with her nails.
"Sorry, Sweetness." He looked deep into her eyes as she pulled each sliver out.
"It's ok." Her smile grew with his.
"You are so good to me." His whisper and smile made her smile bigger.
