Overview

Old Trucker is a lonely over the road professional driver. He hauls things from here to there and there to here, from California to Connecticut and everywhere in between. He drives for long days and even longer nights. One day when Old Trucker is sick from a hurting heart, he finds a sick little sad kitten who brings light to his many bluish-grey days. It turns out this little orange bob tailed kitten may just be the best medicine for Old Trucker's hurting heart.

About the Author

NICOLE MARIE grew up on a small horse farm in Pennsylvania and at an early age found that animals were one of her favorite subjects to write about. She also writes about travel, veterans, and the dichotomy of the challenges and inspirations of everyday life. Nicole has an MFA in Creative Writing from Rosemont College and a BA in History from Eastern University, with a minor in the history of the Vietnam War. She has written creative non-fiction, children’s literature, and articles.

JOHN O’GRADY a computer geek, an anime geek, and an urban fantasy geek. He's been a geek ever since his family went to a drive-in to see a double feature of the blockbuster “Battle Beyond The Stars” and a one-off throw away called “Star Wars." From an early age he played Dungeons and Dragons and read the likes of Alexander Key, Madeleine L’Engle, Willo Davis Roberts, Raymond Abrashkin, and Bertrand R. Brinley, to name a few. He became interested in comics when he worked for WaldenBooks in the 90s.
