About the Author

Robert St. John grew up in Atlanta, earned degrees from Western Kentucky University and the University of Oregon, taught theater in Hawaii for thirty years, and won a national award from the American Alliance for Theater and Education for innovations in teaching playwriting. In his plays, he experiments with anthropomorphism, magical realism, time travel, slapstick, science fiction, social satire, horror, and every combination possible, and has written dozens of short plays about the connection between humans and dogs. He lives in Maryland, where he continues to teach and learn and write and wonder.
