About the Author

Curtis Vanaudestrade was born on the same day as Newt Gingrich and Barry Manilow (June 17, 1946) and the infamous Watergate break-in occurred on his birthday. He spent his childhood traveling around the United States and Europe due to his father's career as an executive for the Kaiser Corporation, including his last 2 years of high school in Switzerland where he learned to ski and rock climb as part of the physical education curriculum.
After a long and varied career, he is now semi-retired in Largo, Florida where he lives with his wife and spends time volunteering for Veterans' programs and organizations working towards sanity in the mental health industry in addition to scouring the news each day for interesting events to add to this series of booklets.
