About the Author

I was born in England, and at the age of four, we moved to New York. After living in Buffalo for nearly five years, we moved to Los Angeles, where I continued my schooling and attended Cal State University, Los Angeles, and San Francisco State. Majoring in English, I began teaching high school in Alhambra, California. I married my husband, and we had four children. Throughout the years, I have taught grades 6th, 7th, and 8th, Pre-Kindergarten, and junior college, and I even served as an elementary librarian. Currently, I live outside of Richmond, Virginia, spending my time traveling, visiting grandchildren, and writing.
