About the Author

Dr. Richard Orzeck (along with his wife, Theresa) operates a small veterinary clinic in Trumansburg, New York. When not at work doing all he can to save the lives of dogs and cats or the occasional cow, he is off somewhere wandering about this amazing planet. He is a member of the Traveler's Century Club and has visited 142 countries and all seven continents. Besides being a healer and adventure traveler Richie is a former U.S. Navy sailor and dairy farmer, a prolific birder, scuba diver, amateur wildlife photographer, writer, Somerset Maugham scholar, antevasin, and an aspiring mystic.
