Orcas Island 2019 Part One
My second sitting at the Orcas pie. Some snaps are included simply because they represent some of my favorite views, the island being quite often best left to represent herself. Alternatively, I include my own rather quirky view of reality, through ever squinting eyes.

About the Author

British by birth and culture Trevor has dabbled with short stories, prose, photography and illustration throughout a varied career in the public and private sectors. Moving to Orcas, in the San Juan Islands, Washington, USA gave him the time and freedom to work on numerous fresh projects unhindered by time constraints. Creatively he takes his influences from such varied authors as Dodgson, Lear, Shakespeare and Cervantes. His early prose was often in the form of free verse, reminiscent of 40's and 50's Jazz or beat poetry, styles he references to the present day. A genuine love of the perverse nature of both the English language and its humor pervades throughout often adding surreal or pantomime like episodes and themes. Eccentricity, quirkiness and the ridiculous, mixed with a degree of poignancy, abound. His photographic work tends to mix a stylized reality with an old-world wonder, to include much magic and mystery.
