A very particular and unique pictorial essay of Orcas Island from the period early 2017 to early 2019. Somewhat whimsical and sometimes disturbing the images display a perspective that is personal and momentary. Magic is forever difficult to illustrate or capture in a single frame, yet sometimes the most bland appearing view can suddenly pierce the veil between reality and imagination.

Author and poet who moved to Orcas Island to try and recapture some of he peace and tranquility of his Island homeland whilst still closely nestled in the bosom of the monster he has come to so admire as the next best hope.. An avid walker, writer, epicurean and raconteur, Trevor has never lost the connections with Carroll, Blake, the pre-Raphaelites that are tattooed deep into his psyche and much of his work reflects that combined savagery, adoration and magic.
