Orion: the visitors
It all started with a simple star party where Corbin and his sister Jenny were going with some friends up a mountain to look at the stars in New Mexico. What Corbin wanted was to be able to get closer to one of the girls he had invited only as they were seeing the shooting stars a meteorite fell close to where they were and they decided that they would go and check it out. When they found the meteorite they took it back to a nearby observatory where Corbin's dad works to study it. What they did not expect was that it was not a meteorite, but an object from another solar system that when activated transported Corbin, Jenny, his father, and the rest of this friends across the galaxy to a system near one of the stars on Orion's belt. The strange new world they go to is filled with surprises and dangers. They learn that it was no accident that they found the device and were transported to the planet. One of the men on the planet had created the device, the only catch was it was a one way trip to the planet, and they have to get another device in order to return home. Only the people of the planet want their help to win a war they know they may not win from another group of people on a different planet. Will they be able to fight a war, and be able to get back home alive?
