About the Author

Dr Ramrakha works as a Cardiologist at London's Hammersmith Hospital, one of the UK's leading research centres for cardiovascular disease. He has a special commitment to writing and teaching both medicine and cardiology. He is also the Cardiologist to Tony Blair. Dr Hill is a Consultant Cardiologist and Senior Lecturer at King's College Hospital. He has a special interest in new treatments for cardiovascular disease.

Features: Spanning the gamut from hypertension to intervention, this book uses text, tables, and illustrations in an easy-to-find, easy-to-read format to present up-to-date information. It includes a summary chapter on major cardiology clinical trials as well as a step-by-step procedure guide. Although several abbreviations follow the British vernacular, they are referenced early in the book.
