"Parenting in Christ lays a biblical foundation for how to parent your children in grace and truth. The lessons are based in biblical principles and encourage challenging discussions, both within group settings as well as with your spouse."

"Parenting In Christ eased my anxiety as a parent, silenced my self criticism, and helped me to focus on the way of Jesus with my children."

"I highly recommend this study to moms' groups who are considering a book study. The topics chosen are fantastic - they are articulate, scripturally solid (in fact, dripping with scripture) and encouraging."
- Kristen, Mother of 2
"It's so refreshing to see guidance to parenthood that starts with the heart of Jesus, versus a list of do's and don'ts."
- Carol, Mother of 2
"The way this is laid out, it is ideal for sparking great conversations in bible studies, especially parenting groups at church and amongst friends. I'll use it as a devotional, and then take the questions and gab with friends about them! ;)
Each chapter begins with an Ice Breaker question, like "Share an embarrassing story" or "Who is the gentlest person you know" followed up with a couple page message on a given topic related to parenting and gives supporting scripture on how this was modeled by Christ, and finishes with some more discussion questions.
I recommend it."

"A Wonderful Guide to Parenting.
I'd originally bought this book on Kindle and now having read it wanted a paper copy to go back and re-read, highlight and reference with my Bible.
Being a first-time mom, it has been overwhelming raising my son (also a single mother) with a strong solid foundation based on Christ. I was raised in a religious home and want my son to also have an upbringing where he learns and builds a relationship with God throughout his life as well. My greatest weakness as a mother is not having a real role model to teach me how to raise a child and I have no help around either to turn to.
I was desperate and struggling with emotions out of my control, including anger and depression. Reading this book caused me to stop and think, to really evaluate my life and what I am teaching my son. I have to take notes in this book and reference the Bible for full meaning and understanding of the quoted Scriptures in this book, but what I am learning is invaluable.
Each chapter is small enough to read through but still thought to provoke enough to make you stop and think before moving on to the next chapter. I read this book one chapter at a time and sometimes have gone back to read the chapter again just to let it all absorb.
What have I learned from this book? Each person will take away something different from reading this book, but for me, I have learned that God is in control, that I am here to serve God and children are precious little blessings our Father allows in our lives. We must lead by example and teach the word of God to our children. I have learned gentleness, compassion, humility and to humble myself. My son is a gift from God and one that I am here on this earth to rise into a strong man that will also serve his Lord.
I cannot recommend this book enough to others who are also finding themselves seeking guidance and answers."
