About the Author

I was born on a small beautiful tropical island, located in the Caribbean and surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean.

The island was historically first referred to as
Hairouna,"The Land of the Blessed."
After losing my mother at a very tender age of four, I was then raised by strangers in several foster homes.

One of my best and fondest memories of my mother is her voice as it echoed her favorite lyrics.

Oh, Cecilia, you're breaking my heart you're shaking my confidence daily

And so, I inherited the middle name, Cecilia.
I developed a fondness for writing. It helps me to deal with the dark places of which I have traveled.

At the age of nineteen years, I migrated to North America, Canada to be specific.
And even today, now at the age of maturity it is still home to me.
