About the Author

Born and raised in California, June and her family relocated to Texas in 2000, where she now enjoys the country life with her husband of 30 years. After closing her party store in 2016 and entering semi-retirement, June completed several college courses focusing on writing, hoping to rekindle her love of the craft and perhaps publishing. Her first book, “Pepper the Magic Tortie Cat–Book 1- The Golden Key” published in 2020. Inspired by her fond memory of the family’s tortoise-shell kitten, Pepper, and her experiences of raising two beautiful children, she decided to continue the narrative.
Living during the decades when bullying was a rite of passage and you were told that “words could never hurt you” June suffered along with many. Her nasty nicknames included “June Balloon” and “Pee on a Tree.” Being a victim most of her life left wounds. Having experienced this tragic pastime firsthand prompted her to weave a story that addressed this important issue. Her desire is to reach children of all ages and let them know they are PERFECT just as they are! Special and beautiful children of the Universe!
Along with expanding on the story of Pepper, Celeste, Elena and Brandon, she is working on a new project. One dear to her heart. The historical fiction novel about her 93-Year-Old Uncle's life during World War 2 in German occupied Poland will come soon.
