About the Author

Linda B. Cotnam is a mother, a wife, an educator, and an administrator. While leading a school through the new unexpected changes that resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic, she decided to write a book about the experiences of children and their caregivers. Knowing that many children were becoming worried, panicked, and terrified by messages being heard from adults in their lives, she wanted children to remember that they should remain calm and do what they can in challenging situations. She wanted them to know that no one has control of external situations, but they do have control over how they decide to cope with and manage them. Linda is an avid billiard player, movie watcher and learner. Her greatest joys are in raising her children and working in schools, where she has an opportunity to inspire and motivate youth.
