The final volume of this series concludes the set of 24 preludes, and further emphasizes some of the common ground between jazz, classical music, and the many fertile traditions of folk and art music. The range of influences is, perhaps, even broader than in the previous volumes. In addition to six preludes, the final volume of this series includes unique arrangements/reharmonizations of Beethoven's Adagio Cantabile" from the Pathetique Sonata, Op. 13 and the traditional "Amazing Grace."
