About the Author

CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up, she's at the well, hauling buckets.

Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere, but it gave her a big enough ego to try her hand at novels. She’ll tell you all about it out back, where a cord of wood awaits.

If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.

SCORE: Stars: 4 (out of 5) for overall story Chilies: 4 (out of 5) for heat between the sheets/or anywhere else BOOK TIDBITS: Genre: Romance Recommended Readers: 18+ Chapters: 27 + Epilogue Bonus Material: White Knight: 17 chapters King of Code: 25 chapters Ending: HEA Main Characters: Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Grinstead Keaton Bridge: aka Alpha Wolf = 4lph4-Wolf aka David Webber (real name) REVIEW: Wow! I had so much fun reading this story. I love the characters, especially Cassie’s Grandmother. She is a firecracker. I love what she calls the Cassie’s biological Grandfather…so funny. Keaton is brilliant, but what I love the most about him is he is such a gentleman…a brilliant gentleman. I don’t want to say too much more, out of fear that I’ll spill the beans. But I will say, this is one story you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this story and the bonus material.

Love when a bad boy is not so bad when it comes to the right girl! I especially love CD's bad boys!

I am a big fan of CD Reiss’s books and I could not wait to read Prince Charming. I love the cover and the title … you cannot get more romantic than that! “He’s going to set off alarm bells and a war between heart and head.” I have enjoyed the story of Cassie and Keaton but I wasn’t hooked from the very beginning. I thought that it was a bit complicated at times to follow the storyline – do not get me wrong , I am sure that it is due to a lack of knowledge from my side because it is obvious that the author knew what she was writing about- I have learned a lot about hackers and the dark web world! Cassie Grinstead is an FBI agent who is known for her integrity and professionalism. She wants to become a special agent with criminal investigation but is fully aware that it is going to be challenging for her to achieve her goal. However, Cassie is not easily intimidated and is going to do everything she can to get there… but she needs Keaton. Keaton Bridge is sex on a stick. He is British, sexy, mysterious and charming! The attraction between him and Cassie is apparent from their first encounter. “He saw me before he saw my badge, as if he’d whipped away my cloak of invisibility.” The chemistry is palpable and you want them to get together straightaway because you know it is going to be EXPLOSIVE! But they can’t- she is FBI and he is a criminal. What I found the most attractive is that we do not really know who Keaton Bridge is? “When Keaton Bridge promises mischief, there’s a good chance mischief will occur .” Nana was hilarious and I love her character and the relationship she has with Cassie “ Agent-Pants-On-Fire”. Prince Charming did not lack authenticity. The romance, the dialogue, the amazingly fascinating and mysterious characters, they're all trademarks of CD Reiss's work. I still don't know how I feel about it all but I have one clicked King of Code!

Prince Charming is perfection! Keaton can work me over with code all night long! Gah he is absolutely de-lish! These characters are everything! Cassie is the ultimate strong heroine. Raised by her Nana who is a hoot. Keaton may be trouble but I was swooning from the second he opened that delectable mouth of his. British accents get me every time but there is something altogether different about this man - whew he is on a level all his own. His thoughts, his protectiveness, his desire. Had me ready to beg for more. Their sizzling chemistry - the pull they both feel - wanting what they know they can't have. Their pasts - both so complicated. This storyline is so relevant and incredibly entertaining. I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Suspense - the most exquisite torture. Secrets - kept me guessing to the absolute end. The way the events unfold is fascinating with every chapter more titillating than the last. I say every new book is my favorite and her best writing yet - Prince Charming is no exception. I want to shout how much I love this book! I could sit down right now and read it again. That's how phenomenal this author is. I have been enraptured with Christine's writing since I one-clicked Spin about 3 years ago. I have been captivated by her immense talent for creating these amazing, relatable characters, unique and complex storylines ranging from Mafia to Hollywood A-List to Marriage Games and now to MI6 and FBI. All impeccably written with such attention to detail in every beautiful, expertly articulated paragraph. Waving my fan-girl flag loud and proud!

I've been a fan of Miss Reiss since The Songs of Submission first released in serial form. So, although I don't read a ton of m/f books these days, when the blurb for Prince Charming caught my attention, I was excited to read the author's newest standalone. The set-up of a hacker who was going straight meeting and falling for a FBI agent was definitely intriguing, but I struggled to get caught up in this book. The first thing that struck me was the pacing. Although I don't doubt it was an intentional artistic choice by the author, the choppy rhythm disrupted the flow of Prince Charming for me. Beyond the staccato tempo, it's more difficult for me to pinpoint why I didn't love this couple. I found the individual characters unique and very interesting. I loved that the straight-laced FBI agent wasn't as perfect as she seemed at first, and I really loved how many surprises there were to Keaton's character and history. Though Keaton and Cassie made sense as a couple on paper, I never quite felt that chemistry. I'm never a fan of insta-love, and even with no proclamations, their willingness to give up plans, careers, and risk personal safety for someone they didn't know all that well smacked of too much, too soon. Had there been more relationship development before those claims of devotion, their chemistry would be more convincing. While I found the relationship underdeveloped, I did enjoy the action and suspense in the latter part of Prince Charming. There were twists I expected and others I hadn't anticipated coming together to deliver an exciting conclusion. Overall, Prince Charming ended up being a mixed bag for me. I think this one is best suited for fans of unlikely couples and those who enjoy a bit of suspense with their romance. *Reviewed for Alpha Book Club*

It shouldn’t surprise you when I say that CD Reiss has put out yet another amazing book. When you read a book by this author, you expect it to be well written with a storyline that grabs your interest from page one and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the final word is read. This book is no exception. Keaton is trying to go straight and Cassie is the one assigned to catch him before he does. Neither expect the intense attraction the two of them feel for each other to blur the lines between cop and criminal....but it does. And it is absolutely explosive! -thank you CD Reiss for this forbidden/opposite attracts steamy read. The plot flows smoothly with its twists and turns. The angst the characters feel is placed perfectly and the dialogue is both sexy and sassy. The attention to detail is certainly appreciated and the love scenes.....my goodness, the love scenes! The author left no room for error and you will find that you will be completely fulfilled and waiting to see what she has next up her sleeve. Keaton is swoon worthy with his good looks and actions and Cassie is one that you can admire because of her beauty and her strength. Definitely lead characters that you can invest in without any disappointment. I would highly recommend Prince Charming as a must read for 2018!

If you want to always read a fantastic, sexy story, pick up anything by this author. I have never been disappointed with any book I've read by CD Reiss. This book is no exception either. Keaton and Cassie are one very sexy couple. Each play the part of the devil for one another. Cassie being an FBI agent meant to discover and arrest the hackers and Keaton being the hacker that Cassie was meant to arrest. There's so much more to this story that you don't realize upon first glance. There's a complex maze of situations and circumstances surrounding both Keaton and Cassie. We're taken on a roller-coaster ride trying to find out what is happening between them. Christine has a way of pulling us into the story with her words and descriptions. Where some stories are over descriptive, this story was written in a way that made you feel everything much more vividly. I felt like it pulled out emotions in the reader to make us feel the words and the story, not just read them. I was kept on the edge of my seat with the sexual tension that played throughout the story, then blown away when we finally see Keaton and Cassie come together as a couple. I closed this book with the biggest smile plastered on my face! Mark this book down as another win for the book world.

I LOVED the English Gentleman, chivalry is alive and well! The authentic British-isms shone through the dialogue and thought process of Keaton’s persona, a man who moved to the US at the age of 16 so has a lovely blend of character and a sexy British accent. The author depicts him as an authentic Englishman and I totally swooned over his charm, his words and his handsome sophistication. Cassie, the heroine at the heart of this smart story, has ambition and goals set out that do not include a man like Keaton. She fights crime and, in direct contrast, it appears that Keaton is embroiled up to his neck in it! A recipe for disaster or the ingredients for a passionate relationship? As the story unfolds the mysterious past of Keaton is revealed to both Cassie and the reader giving the story a perfect air of mystery and intrigue that engaged my attention, and a love affair that made my heart beat fast with the passion on display. The narrative is subtle in tone and put me in mind of something that may be adapted into a TV detective mini-series with hushed tones from the actors portraying the characters, an air of mystery, and danger, and secrets and lies for the audience to uncover. A contemporary romance with a sexy hero, intelligent heroine, and a story with layers to solve, making this an intriguing and swoony read. Advance copy read

Prince Charming is another fantastic book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is intense, it is sexy, it is everything you could possibly hope for from CD Reiss. Like always, CD Reiss' writing has you captivated and on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. She writes intelligently, making no excuses or explanations to her readers, she knows they'll understand because they're smart people. This book will leave you wanting more. Don't get me wrong, it's complete but you'll be so immersed in the story that you won't want to leave. Keaton and Cassie are a fantastic couple with a brilliant story. I loved them both so much. Neither are as they appear and that works so well. They'll keep you guessing and wondering. I liked their chemistry and felt like they were a good match. The sexy times were smokin' and suited their story perfectly. Once I started this book I just didn't want to put it down.I will say that, for me, I thought Keaton was a little too stereotypical British, but that’s probably because I am British. I think Americans especially will fall head over heels for him. I love this cover, it's understated, has a sexy suited guy on the front (always a plus in my book) and having the Union flag in the background gives someone not familiar with the story an idea that the guy is British. You don't need to have read King of Code to enjoy this book. If you like things in order, read KoC first, Taylor and Harper (the couple in KoC) make an appearance, but it'll also work to go back to KoC after Prince Charming and visit them for their story.

So CD Reiss fans know that she can write, non? We understand that. We know that she builds a plot that grabs you from the first pages and keeps you in its grips till you turn the last. Longer, even. Nearly a year after finishing Separation Games (and even longer since reading Marriage Games), I find myself thinking about Adam and Diana more often than I think of, you know, real people. We know that Reiss delivers Hot Heroes who we wish we could will into reality. And now, with Keaton, we know that she can write the perfect hero. This isn't to say that Keaton does not have his flaws. Oh, he does. But he's just so ... charming. It will be impossible for you to spend time with him and not fall in love with him. He's British, for one thing (I kept picturing Clive Owen as I read this book), and he's got that distant, dangerously powerful vibe going on. He's tall, he's broad-shouldered, he has long legs, and he smirks. He has wit and a sense of irony. He also knows when it's time to accept that he has fallen in love. Is Cassie worthy of him? YES. I'll admit that, despite my advanced years, I am childish and immature when it comes to Hot Heroes. I rarely find their female counterparts deserving because I know I'm SO MUCH BETTER FOR THEM. In the case of Cassie, though, much as with Diana, I know that Reiss has given Keaton the right fit for him. There are some nerve-wracking moments of cyber intrigue, which Reiss develops with as much care and detail as she does the romance. My only quibble is a line toward the end when she tells us that the resolution to one of the subplots is a "story for another book." That irked me, but then again, it has made me quite anxious to read that other book. I highlighted so many lines from this book that I could string them all together and let that suffice as a review. Instead, I'm going to close with this one, which, perhaps, is my favorite: "You are the flesh of my heart and the reason it beats." Get to know Keaton. And then come back and tell me how much you love him.

Wow, this story left me wanting more. More Keaton, more story. More CD Reiss. Unlike most of the reviewers here, I don’t have a thing for British accents, I mean, I like them, I appreciate a good one, but being from Scotland, that makes me British and I don’t swoon like the Yanks do. LOL. I’m more into the American accents, so it’s like everything else in life. We’re never happy with what we have, like if your hair is poker straight you want it to be curly, that sort of not happy. That being said, I freaking loved Keaton Bridge. He’s got it all going on- he’s tall, dark and ridiculously handsome. He’s got the accent, the charisma and the sexy allure, added to that, he’s dangerous and has a ton of secrets that he hides beneath a web of lies. It’s a compelling and seductive combination that rips Cassandra Grinstead from her well structures axis. But, Keaton is more than the sum of his parts. He’s a black hat hacker who’s set his mind on going straight. He and best friend Tyler Harden from King of Code are building a factory to produce the first quantum computer when Keaton is brought in for questioning by a couple of FBI agents who include Cassie. Cassie is troubled by the feelings that being in Keaton’s presence stir up inside it. It’s even more alarming when she finds out he’s interested in her too leaves her floundering and questioning not just her willpower but her job. And Cassie is no angel, she has a troubled background that she wants to keep where it belongs, in the past. When these two finally come together the chemistry was totally believable. Keaton was so compelling and demanding. He appears to have everything he wants. He’s got the money and power, but no love interest. No relationships. He didn’t want any until Cassie came into his life and now. He can’t walk away even when he knows he should. He shouldn’t be with her never mind wanting to keep her, protect her. Can a criminal and an FBI agent really have a HEA? Can Keaton pull one last trick out of the bag and become all Cassie ever wanted. Her Prince Charming?

4.5 Artful Dodger Stars! I loved this captivating, shrewd, and very sexy, cat-and-mouse romance. Cassie is a smart, ambitious, and determined, FBI agent. She has brought Keaton in for questioning, trying to get a break on a case that could get her the promotion she wants but eludes her. Keaton is intelligent, charming, and sexy and he sees all her secrets. When they accidentally meet again months later they are helpless to keep their distance. They begin a secret affair that is hot and sexy but also sweet and romantic. Cassie has a past that she is trying to overcome and being in law enforcement has always been the redemption she dreamed of. Keaton is surprised by his attraction to Cassie. He has lived a private life, without getting close to even his best friend and business partner, Taylor. Cassie has gotten in his head and could destroy all his careful plans. Their sexy games are intriguing, and seductive. As Cassie gets closer to the truth that Keaton keeps so well guarded, her life is more in danger. This thrilling story with twists and turns will keep you engaged and guessing right to the very end. I loved both Keaton and Cassie, they were so well matched, challenging each other, creating explosive chemistry. I loved the ending, it was very funny and sweet and totally satisfying. There are a few questions left for another story and I can't wait for more in this series!
