Quantum Shift: Alien Contact

Overview

This is a story about a man's journey through time and space, as he tries to prevent the inevitable alien invasion that has occurred in his present time. This was inspired considerably by HG Wells, and Arthur C. Clarke as well as other major science fiction writers, such as Charles Stross, and Scott Mariani's novel Shadow Project, which was a major inspiration for a lot of my research, into the concept of interdimensional travel. I refer to myself as Sylvester Ashcroft as the author of this so entitled work, as i do not wish to disclose my true name at this time, but maybe in the future.If you are even slightly interested in the concept of time travel, I implore you to give this story a try. I tried to make it as realistic as possible, whilst also adding a spice of fantasy elements here and there, but for as much as possible it is based on real scientific research into alternative energy, which may be available in the future, as well as future technology concepts.

About the Author

I've always had an interest in writing, ever since i was a child. I don't remember a lot from when i was younger, i felt as if i was in two places at once, torn between this world, and a world of dreams, of imagination.

I take a lot of inspiration, from my experiences growing up. I was always fascinated with how things work, and i took that into adulthood. It became the basis for most of my work going forward as a writer.
