I really enjoyed this story. As a tomboy myself, Vanessa was an easy MC to connect with. She is a woman who is not going to take any crap from anyone and I loved watching her take control of her life.

I have very much enjoyed this series so far and look forward to reading the next installment in "The Grant Series".

This Love Story that takes me to a world I'd LOVE to live in. One with a handsome chauffeur/bodyguard with a limo, a gorgeous white horse that loves and understands you, where money is so abundant it rarely needs talking about and enjoying the best of San Francisco. Both main characters are highly engaging, with heaps of twists and turns to figure out. This is story is a vacation in itself.

The author used details to not only make the story come to life but also make the characters pop. They are connectable and truly added to the story for me. I enjoyed how strong and supportive they are of each other. They have great growth and chemistry throughout the story which just added to the entertainment of this story. This is a fast paced, engaging story that is hard to put down. I cant wait to see what is next for this author and series. I highly recommend this book.

The mystery and suspense in this book are first-rate. The reader is left to wonder exactly who is responsible for the things happening to Vanessa. Her relationship with Quinn carries the book as well.

It is something to say that the potential hazards of their relationship are really nothing compared to the day-to-day hazards she faces. The action scenes are powerful and gripping.
