Rain of Deception
Lollipops, sunflower seeds and sundresses are all a girl's best friend, but that's far from the case for Rain Waters. Rain is a pretentious young woman from the Webster House, a housing project in the Bronx, NY. Unthinkable tragedies at a young age have stolen this woman's innocence, leaving her shattered and battered by the one's closest to her. The expected concern for Rain's well being is overshadowed by greed, money, and power. Having reached her breaking point, Rain devises a plan to set herself free from the physical and emotional chains in which she finds herself. Is it possible for a product of abuse to live a normal life and find true love, or will her horrid past of abuse, misuse, betrayal and deceit plague her forever?

About the Author

Earl N. Williams, the writer, the father and the man. Born in the Bronx and raise in Harlem not even he envisioned his future motivation, but as luck should have it, this young man fought through not just an allure of bad instance and failed promises, but a series of regrets. He never thought of writing, an when it happened he never looked back. Instead, the words fulfilled this young man in his quest for redemption and desire.
A father of three, Mr. Williams has longed lived a fight against teens who've been abuse and children who are neglected based on their past standard so he sought out to change things, and in doing so he wrote Rain of Deception to wake parents up, and to make society more aware of the consequences that when we ignore our children "we're just as guilty as the ones committing the non-consensual behavior against" because we shut them out. He has spent a huge amount of his time examining how society reacts to these findings by looking into situations involving teens within the homes with parents who bask in their glory for all the wrong reasons.
Earl N. Williams wants to save lives, not destroy them by bringing bad guys to justice, and by being that voice of the youth, which he feels has long been ignored.
