When a cutting edge pharmaceutical company synthetically grows an island to expatriate themselves from the US, things take a dark turn when one of the scientists goes insane and uses the opportunity to seize control of the island for himself. Trent, the head of security for the pharmaceutical company, is transformed against his will by one of the surviving scientists into the weapon that's needed to defeat the genetically engineered army of nightmares that's taken over the island.
