Red Eyes
The Serpians partook of the fruit of the Knowledge of Good and Evil long before Adam and Eve. As the humans walked about naked in the Garden, the Serpians, guided by the fallen angels, built an advanced civilization. In a bid to control the planet, their leader, Abastar, tricked the woman and paid the consequences. The Serpians were cursed, forever to fear the day when the woman's seed would come and bruise their head.
Fast forward through the millennia to the near future. The Serpians have created a biological agent that they hope will change humankind into a mixture of the seeds of the Serpent and of the woman. Having done so, they hope to beat the curse.
The government is the unwitting ally in their plot. Believing the Serpians to be of extra-terrestrial origin, they also have been deceived concerning their goals. It's a secret government organization that sprays the biological agent into the atmosphere all over the world, in an effort to try and stop global warming.
Now, people of a certain type of personality are transforming all over the world. Meanwhile, the dead are unexpectedly affected as well. The bodies of the recently dead begin to get up, hungry for the flesh of the living. And all this is just the beginning of troubles.
