About the Author

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
After graduating from high school in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jakob “Jake” Gentry served over four years in the United States Air Force as an avionics maintenance technician. Jake trained in Biloxi, Mississippi, then was stationed in southern California followed by the Netherlands. Following military service Jake worked for many years in the electronics industry of Silicon Valley, eventually transitioning into the television and film industry in the spring of 1996. He joined the Screen Actors Guild in the fall of 1996. In movies and television Jake worked alongside stars such as Robin Williams and Don Johnson, in addition to appearing in several commercials and print advertisements. In the fall of 2005 Jake made another career change by going into work related to national defense and security, which included three years living and working in Kuwait and another year in Baghdad, Iraq. In 2023 Jake retired. His most recent position was as a Special Investigator retained by the United States Government conducting national security investigations. Jake has traveled extensively around the world to numerous countries. A native of California, Jake resides in a “secure, undisclosed location” in Oakdale, California with his dog, Shadow. As an author, Jake is represented by STA in Hollywood.
