Rescuing The Captain
After purchasing Ravenswood Manor Ali learns that it is haunted by the once prestigious Captain Ravenswood and his wife Mary. Ali has always had trust issues with men especially after her father left her and her mother to survive on their own. When she finds out that her caretaker Jeremiah has lied about who he is, she storms off heading home alone. Getting ready for bed she hears a noise in the hallway. Hoping it is Jeremiah and not Captain Ravenswood she creeps out into the hallway and heads to the top of the staircase. Just as Ali reaches the top step she slips and tumbles down the staircase where Jeremiah later finds her unconscious. When Ali awakes she finds herself in the company of none other than the infamous Captain John J. Moreland, pirate captain of the Black Crow. Captain Moreland takes her on an eye opening adventure to learn why the ghostly Captain that haunts her house seems obsessed with her, and how he became such a bitter man.

About the Author

Beverly Kovatch has worked for many years in a major hospital in Cleveland Ohio. She is the mother of three, grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of one. She is married and lives on a beautiful farm in Madison Ohio.
She thought that everything was complete until one day someone showed her something special about herself. One of her physicians told her she should go back and get her degree. Although she didn't get her degree she met two wonderful professors who brought back something into her life that she had long forgotten. Her love of writing. It taught her a lesson that it doesn't matter how old you are, you can still "Catch your Dream" if it is what you really want.
