About the Author:
My name is Myra Sampson Reeves. I am the mother of three sons, Zuogwi Earl Reeves, Mlynue Alfred Reeves, and Yuejay Thomas Reeves. I am a native of Philadelphia, Pa. I am a counselor, teacher, author and entrapper/missionary. In my spare time I enjoy writing, sailing, horseback riding and tennis. I was inspired to share my personal story of my son, Mlynue Alfred Reeves’ basketball career to inspire and motivate young boys and girls to pursue this sport. It is a sport that teaches discipline, persistence, and tenacity. I am also the author of: “Down on the Boardwalk,” illustrator: Emily Thomson. November 2020.
