Road to Nowhere by M. Robinson

From USA Today Bestselling Author M. Robinson

I once read that every warrior hoped an honorable death would find him. I always went looking for mine, but not even the Reaper wanted me.
I was trained to kill. I was trained to not ask why. To take orders and just march in line. Hooah motherfucker.
Life or death.
Ride or die.
And I'm not only talking about the military. I'm talking about the life that led me on the road to nowhere.
My life.
I fought for my brothers.
I fought for my family.
I fought for my country.
And I fought for her...

Never realizing I might die for them too.

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal." What an emotional read! Let's just say that the highs are really high, the lows are knock you down gut wrenching, and the sexy times are blazing hot! Road to Nowhere is a MC story, but it's also a military & forbidden romance as well. The story is a spin off of the author's other series, Good Ol' Boys, and although it features characters from those books, Road to Nowhere can be read without reading that series first. Road to Nowhere follows the lives of Creed and Mia and unfolds over several years. We get a chance to see our characters make mistakes, mature, grow, and change. I loved that the story is told from both of their POV's, which really helped me understand and become emotionally attached to these characters. I both loved and hated Creed and Mia. They both make decisions that, although they think are correct/are for the best, end up having very serious repercussions. It was their perfect imperfectness that made them so engaging and left me wanting more and more. Let's be clear. This is not a fluffy read. Some of the parts are down right heartbreaking and it's definitely heavier than my usual reads. Some readers may also be put off by the near decade age difference between our characters. What killed me (and I'm guessing almost all of the other readers) was the ending. Honestly, the wait for book 2 is like having my heart carved out with a spoon. April cannot come fast enough!

This book had me hooked from page one M Robinson has given us yet another fantastic read. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, twists and turns that you never saw coming, it will have you laughing and crying and at times wanting to throw your reading device at the wall...... Creed is the hot bad boy your mother warned you about and Mia is the complete opposite but you know what they say " opposites attract " Mia won't let Creed win she can give as good as she gets she has a smart mouth and a sassy attitude and I fell in love with her, she made me laugh and she made me cry. This book is dark in places but it's beautifully written and I know if you one click you won't be disappointed. Please don't make us wait too long for book two...

It's not that often that I am at the end of a book and I can't believe it is over! I have read every book M.Robinson had written and she continues to deliver more every time! If you are a fan of the Good Ol' Boys, you will love this second generation series with Creed and Mia. Creed is not your typical hero but you can't help but love him and feel his pain coming off the pages in waves. Great read. Can not wait for the next book!!

This is Not a feel good book, I kept hoping it would have some kind of uplifting story line but it just kept getting more brutal. It covered about 5 years in the story started kind of negative , had a couple of funny parts then death and meaham. Then more death. Sorry this is nothing like it was advertised as. The writing is good, and if you like this kind of negative storyline then it's great , but definitely not for me. Very hard to read and definitely wished I never read some the the horribly graphic scenes.

I love all things by M. Robinson but I found myself having a hard time falling in love with the characters in this book. Creed grew up in the MC life and has not had it easy. A lot of sadness and hardships have come his way. He is struggling to find peace with those hardships and during this time finds comfort in Mia. Mia is the daughter of the Good Ole Boys and is a spitfire, just like her mother Alex was. Its not easy for her growing up with an overprotective father and uncles, when all she wants to do is live her life. She meets Creed at 9 years old and their friendship blossoms into so much more. I found Creed to be a bit immature most times and I had a hard time dealing with the age difference between he and Mia, making some of the intimate scenes a bit uncomfortable to read. But don't let that stop you from reading the book. As usual M. delivered the angst like no one else can and leaves us wanting more with an epic cliffhanger. Though I didn't enjoy this book as much as I have her others, I'm very excited for the next book in this series.

I love love LOVED this book. All the guessing about what's going to happen next. I love the characters except for one that annoyed me a lot but that's just my opinion. I highly suggest this book to those who like mc books that have hot bikers, drama, and a book that keeps you guessing. It does have. Cliffhanger ending BUT don't let that stop you because it is so worth it! The next book can't come soon enough..

Gutted, yes, that’s exactly how I feel. Creed has led a hard life, just when I think it can’t get any worse for him, more crap just seems to find him. He lives his life filled with guilt for so many things but most of which aren’t his fault, it’s more a matter of circumstance. His first encounter with a 9 year old, sassy Mia is priceless. This sets the tone for a very unique friendship. Mia is not intimidated by the tattoo covered biker, she sass’s him just like anyone else in her life that assumes she is a ‘baby’. What she finds is the first person not to treat her like a baby. She makes it her mission to make him smile. I was blown away by the patches she gave him to put on his cut. These moments were incredible, someone doing something for Creed just because, not trying to gain anything, just to be nice. Creed didn’t have much of that in his life. Now, I’m not going to reveal all the crazy, gut-wrenching, drama filled moments, you need to get this book and experience every emotion that M Robinson brings to every story she crafts.

There is a reason M. Robinson is known as the queen of angst. The raw emotions she instills in her readers while reading her books draw you in and never let you go. Her books stay with you for a long time. They are not just a love story, but stories about life. They are never easy, but worth every tear and laugh it draws out of you. Creed Jameson is a broken man. My heart broke for him over and over. He is definitely not your typical hero, but one you will root for. He was born into a life he never asked for and lives with expectations and burdens that at times are too much to carry. The choices he makes hurt himself and those he loves. Fighting for his family, for his MC brothers, for his country, for her, he has seen things no man should have to bear. I just loved Mia Ryder! She was something else. The daughter of Good ‘Ol Boy Lucas and Alex, she has some of the best and worse qualities from her extended family. Feisty, strong-minded and with some mouth on her, she always speaks her mind and follows her heart. Her heart leads to Creed. Creed meets nine-year old Mia at eighteen. The little girl makes quite the impression and they form a very unlikely friendship through the years with their sporadic contact. Mia provides Creed something he never had before, someone who truly cares about him. Throughout the story, we see how the life Creed leads takes it tolls on him. He does not believe he deserves anything good out of life. On the other hand, Mia is growing up, but struggling with very overprotective parents. She has a good life, but feels something is missing. All she wants is to be a normal girl for once. We see how two people leading very different lives find a connection. One they may not understand at first, but know there is something there. Even as we see them living these separate lives, they find each other when they least expect it. But in true M. style, their journey is not an easy one. Tragedy, loss and unexpected circumstances will stand in their way. I loved this book, even as it destroyed me. M. can do no wrong. I could not put this book down. That ending blew me away. So unexpected. Cannot wait for the next book. I give Road To Nowhere by M. Robison 5+ angst-filled stars.

Once again M Robinson has managed to drag me into the deep waters of FEELINGS. I went through so many emotions while reading Road to Nowhere and I couldn't get enough. What I really like about MR's writing is that she gives you depth in all her characters. We are able to get a full picture of the life/back story of the players in the book that really enhance the story. Most of the book is spent shaping the image of Creed and how he becomes he man that he is. I really enjoyed following his journey. Wow what a journey of heartbreak and pain!! My heart broke for him even when he was in the role of "Big Bad VP". Creed's journey crosses paths with young Mia and we get a sense of her growing up. Of course because M Robinson likes to make us a basket case the books end on a major cliff hanger. I can't wait to read the next installment!!! I rated this book 4 stars for the simple reason that I did pause again with the age difference, which I have done before in one of her past books. I guess to me age difference doesn't matter when lets say the H/h are in their 20's and above but the under 18 thing gets me. In my mind I kept doing the math of ages as I read Creed and Mia's story and it took away from my enjoying the story a tiny bit. To leave on a Happy note... I so enjoyed seeing more of the Good Ol' Boys and Martinez from El Diablo make appearances throughout the book.

I loved it. It's raw and passionate and is more than a love story. Read it, it's a great book. And don't let the fact that there will be a part 2 stop you from getting it. We won't have to wait long!!

Road to Nowhere is author M. Robinson's latest beautiful read. I became immersed in everything Mia and Creed from the first page to the last. This is a tale of passion and craziness between two people whose worlds usually run in different circles than with each other. Expect the unexpected! This is the Good Ol' Boys coming full circle since Mia is the daughter of Alex, half pint, and Lucas. She has led a sheltered and protected life. She has a stubborn strong willed spirit just like her mother. She sees Creed's heart when she first meets him just like Alex always knew Lucas' heart. Age difference and social circles do not deter Mia. Lucas...well being a good ol' boy makes him a rather stifling dad. I guess he remembers how he and his circle of boys behaved when they were younger. Creed could be the poster child for bad boy and biker that makes a dad twitch. He hasn't had an easy journey. He expects to live a life alone and is bitter. Mia is a joy to him, but he warns her away. One click and get on the Road to Nowhere with Mia and Creed. You will laugh, cry, hold your breath and keep turning the pages. I will warn you that the Queen of Angst stills keep her crown polished to perfection! The ending...well let me just say M. Robinson now wears a sash with her crown. It says Queen of Cliffhangers...

I can't believe I'm speechless, what did I just read?! A whole book of angst in MC form, another thing M Robinson can do well. Creed well he is just a hot bada** and made of sin. I'm still in shock, the blood isn't rushing too fast. I want more ,no, I need more and now, can you say hangover! Road to Nowhere is Creed and Mia's story, Mia is Lucas and Alex's daughter from the Good Ol' boys series, but this is a new series with MC and VP by the name of Creed. I just loved this book, if has everything and more. You get drawn right in from the start to the last breathless words at the end, there is heartbreak, sadness, sass and a whole lot of hotness that you've come to expect from M Robinson. Creed has had plenty to deal with in his young life, fighting for everything he values and now for Mia, but has it lead him to, or from the Road to Nowhere.

As always, M Robinson delivers another book that I devoured in one day. I love her writing style. She really gives you a chance to get to know each character throughout the book. I love that M's books are longer and give background and insight for each character, they aren't the quick "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" type of book. Creed is definitely rough around the edges but also has a sweet heart that can only be seen at certain times. He is also honest which helps to build his character. I was crying by 15% in. This is my first motorcycle club book and I enjoyed learning about the club. Mia is first introduced as a younger child and she is such a spitfire. I love her honesty and she just tells it like it is. She is refreshing and makes you laugh throughout the book. I am super excited for the next book. Queen of Angst is definitely the perfect title for M. Robinson. Well done. I have already re-read my favorite parts like 5 times!!!

I don't know why I continue to ride this emotional roller coaster, called "Every Book by M. Robinson". Well, actually, I know why. Because it's amazing and thrilling. IT'S AN EXPERIENCE. ROAD TO NOWHERE, would prove to be no different. I was invested, the moment I saw that cover. Marshall Perrin is Creed Jameson, the heir to the MC that has brought him nothing but pain and tragedy, and no reason to live. His life has been filled with darkness, one loss after the next, and each one seemed to be greater than the last. He let those losses become him never allowing in any light, except for the sunshine brought on by Mia Ryder, little spitfire whose personality is larger than than life. Lust, laughter, love, pain, sorrow, tragedy, and ANGST! Right from the very beginning those "feels" were forced upon me. I was fanning myself one minute and grabbing my Kleenex the next, and I wasn't even 15% in. YEAH, readers get ready.... Things, I love... everything that CREED says, ending his sentences with, "yeah". Was this a nod, to Marshall being Canadian? Whether, it was or not, I loved that characteristic about Creed. It was almost endearing. I absolutely love that Lucas is getting his just desserts with Mia, because that little girl is too hot to handle...LOL. She reminded me a lot of Lily (Forbid Me). Her patches cracked me up. She saw right through Creed and nailed him to a tee, with those patches. I could go on and on, but I don't want to run the risk of spoiling a single moment of it. So, I need the need the next book like I need my next breath. Because, that jaw dropping ending, left me both anxious, and a little frustrated, to be honest. I want to know what becomes of these character that I've come to love so much. Until then, it's all about the reread for me. 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Has there ever been a book that you never want to end? Yeah? Well this is one I don't want to end. EVER!!! Good news...There will be more of Creed and Mia. Bad news...It's a cliffhanger so if you can't handle them, I suggest waiting. With that said, I HIGHLY recommend this book. Within the first six or seven chapters I was already put on an emotional roller-coaster. I had tears, I felt hurt, pain and oddly, I even laughed. At only nine, Mia is a force to be reckoned with. She is a spit fire and on many occasions I wanted to wrap Creed up in a great big hug. He has been through so much. Once again, this story starts when they are younger so your love for the them grows as they do. You will also fall in love with other people in this book and wonder if she will write books about them too. Needless to say...This is an amazing book that I highly recommend. I would even say it's one of my all time favorite reads. You read that right, ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE READS! So what are you waiting for...Grab your copy TODAY!

They don't call m Robinson the queen of angst for nothing!!! This book DEFINITELY didn't disappoint!! Full of angst!! Some super hottttttttt scenes! Intense dark moments!! And a story that pulled at your heart!! You couldn't help but feel for all the characters at different points!! I laughed, cried, felt anxious, nervous, and my stomach in knots!! This book was AMAZING!! A DEFINITE 5 star. I didn't want this book to end!! I felt like I was completely sucked in and couldn't stop reading this book!! I am not a huge fan of cliffhangers but m Robinson gave us a huge one!! But I know she won't leave us waiting for long!!! Dying to have the next book!!! Literally need it now!! I fell in love with Mia and Creed!!! Creed a bad boy from the wrong side of the track and the son of the president of a motorcycle club/gang who whatever you want to call it. He was ruthless and did whatever it took to get the job done. He got a lot of blood on his hands and didn't care if he lived or died. He loved his mom, brothers, and best friends and would do anything to protect them. A bunch of unfortunate events lead to him joining the army and leaving his family, job at the club, and going to kill the bad guys with his best friend. Disappointed what little family he had. Mia young, naive, and a girl who says what she thinks and feels. Even if she shouldn't. She is overprotected from her family especially her dad. She grows up missing out on a lot of normal kid things. Isn't allowed to make normal kid mistakes. She has a crush and the connection is immediate. Only continues to grow throughout the years. Many highs and lows push her into doing things she probably wasn't prepared for. I just can't seem to get these characters out of my head. I NEED more!!! Can't wait to get my hands on the next book and find out what happens and where M leads us next!!!

WOW… I still don’t even know how to put my thoughts into words about Road to Nowhere! It was amazing! It draws you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat till the words “The End.” We briefly met Creed at the end of El Diablo and Mia is the daughter of Alex and Lucas of the Good ‘Old Boys. Creed is part of the Devil Rejects Motorcycle Club and as you can imagine, he doesn’t necessarily follow the rules of the law. He is friends with Mia’s old half-brother and they run into each other when she is still just a kid herself. There is so much to their story, individually and together, and all I can say without saying too much is that this is another incredible journey that M. Robinson has given us!
