Welcome to Roscoe's World. Roscoe's World won First Place at this year's Book Fest Awards for Best Children's Historical Fiction. Roscoe's World is an animated story about a boy (Josh) & his dog (Roscoe). Who find themselves on an adventure in another world filled with alternate versions of Josh's dog Roscoe. These alternate versions of Roscoe are famous people throughout our history, Like Julius Ceasar, The king of England, and George Washington, who I call Geroge Roscoton. With these friends they meet on their travels through Roscoe's World they work together to find the portal home. Unfortunately, a couple of cats (Chloe & Ziggy) have also found Roscoe's World, and they want to change this world and make it a paradise of their own, a world without dogs. It's a race to the finish line to get home before Chloe & Ziggy destroy Roscoe's World.

About the Author

Hello. My name is Joshua Marchant. I am 37 years old, and I created, wrote, and completely designed everything in Roscoe’s World. I am not a traditional author; in fact, I don’t consider myself an author at all. I am just a guy who found the passion to write a book series. I never intended to become an author; Roscoe’s World is a passion project for me.

I did everything you see in Roscoe’s World as an homage to my dog, Roscoe. Roscoe died a couple of years ago, and I wanted to do something to remember him. Originally, I was just going to do a coloring book of my dog in different places around the world. Nothing more.

Little did I know that decision would become the biggest dream in my life. It started simple a couple of black & white pictures of Roscoe in Egypt, Rome, and Greece. Have you heard the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” For me, no truer words have ever been spoken.

After I finished with the 30 pictures of Roscoe in different places around the world, I noticed that the places started to connect, I saw a story unfold right before my eyes. All I had to do was connect the dots. Then and there, my simple project took on a life of its own. It evolved into something I never imagined myself doing.

The black & white coloring pages lead to colored pages that lead to a story, which leads to an activity book, then merchandise and an animated series, and finally, movies. It just kept growing and growing. All I had to do was have the determination to let it go where it needed to go and complete everything I saw for Roscoe’s World.

I am so proud of everything I have done with Roscoe’s World, and I plan on continuing this “simple” project for the rest of my life.

My 5-year-old daughter enjoyed it when I would read this book to her. It was a new adventure every night, watching where Roscoe would end up next. Definitely recommend this book for parents to read to their little ones. Also, for children learning to read. Bonus: I must also add that it has the most adorable drawings of Roscoe!

Just finished the book. Right away, I kept wanting to read it. It's very diverse and comical. Love how he incorporated animals into his comic
Story and embraced other cultures and Roman times. Very much for not only adults but kids as well. Can't wait for my kids to read as well.
